ProCon — Maintenance Suite
Led end-to-end QA for the ProCon Maintenance Suite at Lantro Tech — a cross-platform product spanning Desktop, iPad, and Mobile with a shared backend (Napkin). Ensured consistent behavior across all platforms while supporting multi-user workflows, role-based access, and real-time project collaboration. Owned test strategy, regression stability, and release quality across continuous delivery cycles.
Challenges Faced
- Maintaining feature parity across three distinct client platforms (Desktop, iPad, Mobile)
- Frequent hotfixes and maintenance releases, requiring rapid yet reliable regression cycles
- Identifying platform specific regressions that pass on one surface but fail on others
- Ensuring data integrity between ProCon and Napkin database across all CRUD operations
- Keeping QA artifacts (test cases, release notes, bug reports) organized and accessible in MS 365
- Validating real-world workflows instead of isolated feature testing
- Coordinating with distributed teams for same-day triage and production issues
Methodology & Approach
- Module-level test cases reused across platforms with platform-specific deltas
- Executed smoke tests on every build and full regression on release candidates
- Conducted database validation (Napkin) to ensure backend consistency with UI actions
- Maintained centralized QA documentation, release notes, and meeting logs in MS 365
- Contributed to process improvements in release cycles and QA communication workflows
Results & Impact
- Predictable releases across all three surfaces with zero blocker slips
- Ensured data consistency between frontend and Napkin backend in production
- Searchable release-note archive used by product and engineering
- Increased confidence in multi-user and role-based features through thorough validation
- Improved team collaboration between QA, Dev, and Ops during releases and bugfixes
